I am incredibly grateful to have a job I genuinely enjoy; Second Grade has captured my heart! I've been teaching now for 17 years, 12 of those years in Kenowa Hills. I graduated from Aquinas College with an English Degree, along with endorsements in Education and Reading. I went on to complete my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Michigan State (Sparty On!). I don't have children of my own but I consider my students to be 'my children'. My other 'children' include my Dog, Ricky and a cat, Katie.
